Day 1Miami
July 31 (Fri)- Meet and Greet Wear your DSC Family Reunion shirt. The group meets here before the sail away celebration to say hello, swap numbers and line up plans for the port days. Short meeting.

Day 2CocoCay
August 1 (Sat)- Aqua Show "inTENSE"
- Latin Party Feel the heat and passion of our Latin Party as you move to the rhythms of salsa, bachata, and reggaeton. Pack your favorite dancing shoes and casual, white attire that will keep you dancing all night long. When choosing your outfit think casual, light and flowy.

Day 3Nassau, The Bahamas
August 2 (Sun)- Silent Toga Party Silent disco and toga party at once. Put on your Roman garb or grab one of the free togas, put the headphones on and pick between three DJs running EDM, Latin and Pop.

August 3 (Mon)- Welcome Back Safe travels DSC family.

Know before you go
Small things that ruin big trips

Download the Royal Caribbean app first
The check in portal is open, and the app is where you pick your boarding time. It is also where you buy drink and wifi packages, book excursions and reserve specialty dining. All of that is usually cheaper before you sail than it is on board.

Day one has a family meeting
There is a meeting space set aside before the sail away celebration so everyone can meet, swap numbers and line up plans for the port days. It is short.

Bring the right ID
This sails round trip out of Miami, so a passport is the easy answer. Birth certificate plus a government photo ID also works for US citizens on this kind of route. Confirm what you are carrying with Royal Caribbean before you pack.

Get to the port early
Boarding runs most of the afternoon and the ship does not wait. Aim to be checked in well before the Meet and Greet at 4:00.

Pack the reunion shirt on top
You want it for the 4:00 Meet and Greet on day one, not buried in a bag that has not reached your room yet.

Your phone will roam at sea
Put it on airplane mode once you leave port unless you have bought a plan. Ship wifi is a separate package, bought in the app.

Cash for the islands
Small bills help in Nassau for taxis, tips and the straw market. CocoCay runs on your room card.

The muster drill is mandatory
Everyone does it on day one, it takes a few minutes, and the ship will page you until you do.
About DSC
Deal, Shepherd and Coleman
Three family lines, plus the Penlands who married in, plus everybody those lines brought along. The reunion has been running long enough that the logo says 86 years strong, and the family tree on this site tracks 116 people across seven generations.
It moves around. Los Angeles in 2024, D.C. in 2025, and now a ship out of Miami. Same people, different backdrop.

How do I book a room?
Call Royal Caribbean at 1-800-465-3595 and give them group number 9787440. Booking and payments go straight through the cruise line, not through this site.
What does it cost?
Interior $1,426, Boardwalk View $1,740, Balcony $1,794, Central Park View $2,016. Those are double occupancy, so two people to a room. The deposit is $200 per person.

Where does the family talk between now and then?
The Facebook group, Deal, Shepherd, Coleman & Family. That is where announcements land first.
Can I bring people who are not blood family?
Yes. Spouses, partners, close friends, the people who show up to everything anyway. Just tell Brandon so the count is right.
What about the reunion shirts?
Shirt details for 2026 are still being worked out. Check with Brandon or watch the Facebook group.
