DSC Family Reunion 2025

August 28 to September 1, 2025

Washington, D.C. (Alexandria, VA)

One for the books.

Five days in Alexandria, right across the river from D.C. The whole family in blue at the Washington Monument, and a full ballroom for the dance.

What we did

  1. Check in at the Hilton King Street. Alexandria, Virginia. Everyone rolled in over Thursday, picked up their reunion shirts, and the lobby turned into its own reunion.
  2. The museum trip. A day out on the National Mall, and the group photo at the Washington Monument with everybody in blue.
  3. The dance. African dress, a full ballroom, and the family photo that took three tries to fit everyone in.
  4. Church on Sunday. The family worshipped together before the week started winding down.
  5. The market. Last stop together before everyone scattered back home.
